Why I'm Running
I'm running for State Senate to be the advocate my district deserves at the State House: someone who is approachable and available to listen to their concerns and ideas. Someone who will work hard to find solutions to problems and pass legislation that will improve the lives of all Rhode Islanders.
My husband and I chose to put down roots in Rhode Island because we wanted to raise our family in a place with breathtaking beauty, world-class educational opportunities, and a state-wide small-town feel. We love it here. I want to build on all that our communities in East Greenwich, North Kingstown, South Kingstown and Narragansett have to offer—so that our area continues to be a welcoming place where families can thrive, seniors can retire comfortably, and small businesses can grow.
I promise to fight for access to comprehensive health care for all, to protect the coastline and other natural resources in our beautiful state, and to raise wages and create opportunities for working families.
As a mom, education is always at the top of my mind. I will ensure we provide all Rhode Island children with education that will challenge them, grow their skills, and prepare them for the future. Providing safe and up-to-date school facilities is a huge piece of that, and I will support smart investments in school infrastructure
I’m ready to get to work for you. I hope you’ll join me. Together, let's make Rhode Island work for everyone.
