My name is Bridget Valverde. I am a lifelong Democrat from North Kingstown, a proud mom, and a passionate advocate for women and families in Rhode Island.
I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the Rhode Island Democratic Women's Caucus, working to encourage and support the next generation of women leaders in Rhode Island.
My professional background is in the nonprofit sector. I have worked with national organizations expanding access to health care; with food banks helping make sure that children, families, and seniors have enough to eat; and with animal welfare organizations to stop cruel and inhumane treatment.
I have been proud to join my friends and neighbors to advocate for the issues that matter most to families here in Rhode Island. I am ready to bring fresh energy to the State House on behalf of East Greenwich, North Kingstown, South Kingstown, and Narragansett, as District 35’s newest State Senator.
I love this beautiful state, and I am determined to help make it a healthier, happier place to live.
