3. Vote by mail - must be received by end of Election Day, November 5
Mail ballots will been sent to all voters who completed and returned their mail ballot application before the October 15 deadline. If you requested a mail ballot and have not received it, call the state Elections Division at 401-222-2340.
Your mail ballot must be returned (received, not just postmarked) by Tuesday, November 5 at 8:00 pm. You can also return your mail ballot in one of the secure mail ballot drop boxes in Rhode Island. In most towns, the drop box is located outside Town Hall — in East Greenwich the drop box is in front of the EG Police Department. Track the status of your mail ballot application and mail ballot here.
